Services We Offer
Sea walls help protect property lines, habitation, and conservation areas from erosion caused by waves, tides, storms, or hurricanes. Our rocks will help even out the pressure differential between the two sides of the seawall, the land side and the water side. This pressure differential is one of the major causes of seawall damage.
A French drain is a trench filled with gravel or rock that redirects surface water and groundwater away from the area. French drains are used to prevent the water from penetrating or damaging building foundations. It is key to maintain the French Drain and the seawall weep holes so that effective drainage occurs. Weep holes tend to become clogged with sand or soil, thus reducing water flow. French Drains need “replenishing” with rock or gravel to work properly and prevent erosion.
Having the right rock for your design is essential and here at Pelican Rock, we carry all kinds from brookstone, egg rock, crushed-shell, pebblestone to 57 stone.
We work with many residential homeowners and commercial companies in the Marco Island area. We carry all of the common and known rocks needed for new construction, site development, driveways & new landscapes. Give us a call.
